The way you pay for your transfer

The quickest way to pay for your transfer is by credit or debit card, or by cash in a Ria branch. When you pay by credit or debit card, your money normally arrives with us in 15 minutes to 3 hours.

A bank account funded transfer is usually the least expensive way to pay, but it might take up to 4 business days for the money to reach us.

If you’re paying by cash, please allow one business day from when we receive your payment for your transfer to be process. We will cancel your order if we don’t receive payment within one day of your transfer being confirm.

Some currencies can only be transfer during business hours. Weekends, public holidays and local business hours might mean that there’s a delay in the transfer reaching your recipient.

The time of day that you send money, holidays and weekends might also mean that money can’t be deliver to your recipient’s home, or that they’re unable to collect a cash pickup transfer.

As a sender, you’ll know as soon as your recipient has received or picked up their money. As a recipient, you can watch the money be transfer straight to you.

The delivery method you choose

Funds should be available in your bank account or mobile wallet, or available for cash pickup, as soon as they’re released or paid for, depending on your payment method.

If you’re sending the transfer to your recipient’s home, remember to allow extra time for delivery.
